ENSTP Students Visit the CGS Earthquake Engineering Lab"
On Thursday, February 19 and 26, 2026, the Earthquake Engineering Laboratory of the CGS, located in Sebala, opened its doors to a group of student engineers from the National Higher School of Public Works.
The visit began with a detailed presentation of the facilities and equipment, led by Dr. Bencharif Raouf, assisted by a researcher at the laboratory. The students were particularly impressed by the scale of this CGS achievement, notably the shaking table, a cutting-edge tool for research in earthquake engineering.
This meeting provided the future engineers with a valuable insight into the major advances in this field. It also illustrates the commitment of the CGS which, beyond its research activities, plays an active role in training, education, and the transmission of knowledge.
