The National Center for Applied Research in Earthquake Engineering (CGS) played an active role during the technical and scientific workshops organized by the Arab Center for Seismic Risk Prevention and Other Natural Disasters, dedicated to the "Arab Seismic Code." The Director of the CGS, Dr. Bechtoula, accompanied by his researchers, contributed to the event through presentations and the facilitation of debates. The quality of the CGS's contributions was widely recognized by the Arab scientific community, and the event received significant media coverage. This meeting facilitated enriching exchanges of experiences between Arab experts in earthquake engineering, thus contributing to efforts to reduce seismic risk in the region.
