SCIENTIFIC OUTPUT OF THE CGS

(International and National Publications) 2000 – June 30, 2025

Introduction

This document summarizes the scientific output of the National Center for Applied Research in Earthquake Engineering (CGS) in terms of international and national publications, spanning from the year 2000 to June 30, 2025.

The activities of the CGS are centered around applied research in the following fields:

• Seismic Hazard
• Seismic Microzoning and Earthquake Engineering
• Seismic Risk Reduction Studies
• Expertise and Technical Assessments
• Training

To evaluate the center's scientific output over the period under consideration (2000–June 30, 2025), the following indicators were selected:

1. International Publications
2. National Publications

The research results at the CGS during this period have led to:

• The publication of 190 articles in Class A and B international journals, positioning our center among the leading institutions in Algeria (Source: DGRSDT).
• The publication of 32 articles in national journals (from 2004 to June 30, 2025). This figure reflects the limited number of national journals and the absence of specialized journals in earthquake engineering.
